On 2014, Christophe Hay and his wife Emmanuelle take back the hotel-restaurant La Maison d’à Côté at 5 kilometers from the Castle of Chambord. For a first business, this charming place count 8 double bedrooms and a fine gourmet restaurant.
They rapidly decide to decorate the dining room to their tastes with their interior designer Caroline Tissier, by mixing contemporary and modern style.
La Maison taken back in May 2014, picks up its first star to the guide Michelin in February 2015, the adventure begins! A second building releases itself and the idea to make his own gourmet restaurant with open kitchen begin to grow. The star’s chef dream!
After 9 months of works, the new “maison” moved in the brand new building completely redone in 200 meters of the initial house that they transformed on Bistro style always with our own designer coming from Paris.
Start that time La Maison d’à côté continues to grow, open kitchen, chef’s table, a cellar on dining room, a terrace with church view. The Côté Bistro restaurant offers you simply some revisited dishes manage by Nicolas Aubry this right hand man.
Without forgetting the hotel divides on two building, on one side double bedrooms with bistro and bar on ground floor where is served every morning breakfast buffet. On the other side 4 junior’s suites with gastronomic restaurant at the ground floor.
June 2018, the third building open “La Table d’à Côté” at Ardon near Orléans city. Christophe Hay decide to share his cooking in this new gourmet restaurant in Loiret country.
He trusts two old of la Maison : Aurélien Largeau to manage the open kitchen and Elsa Bonnin on dining room direction and cellar management.
Christophe Hay proposed a kitchen around forest and sea fish products worked in his kitchen’s spirit by involving his team at the most : table’s service, expressed by dishes, order taking by the leader chef…
